Lean Management – Introduction (2 days)

This training program helps to understand the importance of optimizing processes, whether manufacturing or transactional. The approach applies equally to private companies, public and government companies as well as non-profit organizations.

Goals

  • To learn about eliminating waste;
  • Behavior changes towards a Lean culture;
  • To know the customer’s needs, the Lean culture and the challenges of the leader ;
  • To discover the concepts of Added value and non-Added value;
  • To become familiar with the fundamentals of Lean, its guiding principles and its non-negotiables;
  • To discover the DMAIC scientific approach;
  • To discover the WIP management and the leader’s challenge;
  • Daily management with the DMS;
  • To discover the importance of problem solving.

Audience

The training is for anyone who wants to know more about continuous improvement and those who wants to understand it by doing.

Requirements

  • No requirement or certification is necessary.

Structure

  • 2 sessions of 8 hours;
  • Simulations;
  • Videos showing the importance of some concepts;
  • Visit a site or a department for a walk-through (if possible).
